| Description: | Rob Northrop is a Florida folk singer, musician, songwriter and guitarist. In the 1960's he was influenced by the folk music scene of New York. Later he was immersed in the oral tradition of folk music and storytelling of the Appalachian Mountains. In the 1990’s Rob founded the North Elk Coffee House on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay. It was here that Rob continued to hone his skills on the six-stringed acoustic guitar, and added songs from a variety of styles to his repertoire. |
